Most our guests attend our 11am morning worship service where they enjoy the beautiful and inspiring music of the ensemble and soloists. The music is always followed by a clear, helpful, and challenging Bible message from Pastor Cory. This service is a little over one hour in length. Also, during the 10:00 am hour, there are classes for all ages. These classes are smaller group settings where you are invited to meet people, enjoy perhaps some coffee and donuts, and hear a teaching lesson more directly applicable to your life-stage. The best way to get to know people at New Life Baptist Church is to visit one of these adult Bible fellowships.
Starting with excellent nurseries, there is something special for every age child. On Sunday’s service there is safe, clean, and highly staffed nurseries for children three years old and under. For children four years old through sixth grade there are fun, friendly, and Bible-centered classes. These classes are staffed with trained, friendly, and well-qualified teachers and helpers who will make church exciting and memorable for your child. During the Morning Worship, we have a junior church for children sixth grade down to 4 years old.
Our greeters and ushers are located in the lobby of the main worship center and will gladly help direct and even escort you to the right place.
For our teenagers, we have great class for them at 10AM during our Sunday School hour. Every summer we take our teens to Summer Camp at Indian Creek Baptist Camp in Indiana. We encourage our teens to be actively involved in service and worship of the Lord at New Life Baptist Church.
There is not a dress code at New Life Baptist Church for members or guests. Our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in more traditional “Sunday” dress; however, our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here at New Life!
Above all, we desire to be Biblical and Christlike at New Life. We search and trust in God and His Word for direction, doctrine, and identity. As you search the Bible, you won’t find denominations, conventions, or factions of churches. What you find is that Christ is the head of the church. What you will find is independent churches who had their own God appointed pastor, God appointed deacons, and God appointed and approved doctrine. They were autonomous in the governance and in the direction of their church. Because of that, we are “Independent” of any convention and denomination rule, and have are own constitution that helps us govern the church. We have “Baptist” in our name because it best describes what we believe in our doctrine. To see a general list of our doctrine, check the Our Doctrine page. We are not saved because we are Independent Baptist, we are saved because we have a Saviour in Jesus Christ.
Worship is the act of loving and responding to God! Through the heart-warming, conservative music and the clear, Bible teaching and preaching in our services, your heart will be inspired to love and to respond to God. Each week, families are strengthened, encouraged, and drawn closer to Him through these special times together. Each service is carefully planned and prayed over so that God may work in your life!
